Missanabie Evacuation Shelter

In response to the ongoing needs of communities, MCBC in collaboration with Missanabie Cree First Nation is developing a Evacuation Centre for Support managed by MCEMS for Sheltering services for Indigenous People and communities displaced due to natural disasters (floods and fires), infrastructure failures and social crises, ensuring care

and comfort services to impacted populations.

  • Will also serve as a space for socializing, community engagement and gatherings
